Instead, one must be prepared at all times to face the Creator by living in purity, constantly examining one’s actions, and eagerly seeking mitzvahs every single day.

Rabbi Wolbe emphasizes the importance of balance — not living in constant fear, but maintaining a healthy, proactive mindset. He shares powerful personal stories, including his grandfather’s humility in the diamond district and his own self-imposed boundaries (such as never visiting Las Vegas). The class concludes with the beginning of a discussion on the four types of teshuvah, starting with teshuvah ha-ba — complete repentance demonstrated when the same temptation returns and is resisted.
